A short link is a 301 or 302. Previews in Slack, iMessage, X and Discord unfurl the real page, because crawlers always get the direct redirect.
Numbers you can use
Clicks by day, referrer, country, device and browser, with people and bots counted apart. No IP address is ever stored.
Built for agents
REST API with one God Mode key, a CLI with a TUI, an MCP server, OAuth 2.1 sign-in from the terminal, and x402 so an agent with no account can pay per call.
